We sell our products in two different ways — live auction and buy-it-now.
Live Auctions
The live auctions we feature on our website are all sold through HiBid. So, you will need a HiBid account to bid on any of our auctions. Once an auction has closed, it will appear on our past auctions page. Visit the past auctions page for final pricing information on the lots we sell.
Buy-It-Now Items
Our buy-it-now items have a fixed price and can only be purchased on our website. We'll begin preparing your item for shipment as soon as we receive your payment. Buy-it-now items will not appear on the past auctions page.

The Montana Pickin' Story
Our roots trace back to the world of iPhones, where we started by buying, fixing, and selling these iconic devices. Over time, our interests expanded beyond electronics, venturing into the realm of tactical gear. It wasn't until 2014, after leaving the military and settling in Montana, that our venture truly blossomed. The scenic landscapes and vibrant communities inspired a shift towards auctions, estates, and collections, drawing in a more diverse and intriguing crowd.
Our portfolio has grown to encompass an eclectic mix of items, from Native American artifacts and antiques to motorcycles, hotrods, equipment, tools, chainsaws (whether dead or alive), electronics, vintage audio gear, military surplus, jewelry, turquoise, and furs – the list is as diverse as the stories behind each piece. We've even found ourselves dealing with oddities like rare animal mounts and, believe it or not, a helicopter.
The founder's nomadic nature and extensive travels since the age of 18 have provided us with the opportunity to establish connections across the United States. Drawing on a background in project management within the construction industry, we've had the privilege of traversing the country from coast to coast, engaging in business with auctioneers and individuals alike. This extensive network enhances our ability to uncover and market unique items at their optimal value.
At Montana Pickin’, we take pride in transforming what some may consider "junk" into high-dollar treasures. One particular joy comes from selling old chainsaws – each with a unique history and potential purpose.
